About the Author - Dori Hillestad Butler is the author of 11 children books. As a child, she enjoyed many summer vacations with her grandparents in Wisconsin. Memories from that time inspired her to write "W is for Wisconsin" and "ABC's of Wisconsin." She lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband, two children, a dog, and a cat.
About the Illustrator - Alison Relyea has lived in Wisconsin all of her life. She has worked as an illustrator since her graduation from the University of Wisconsin. She resides in Madison with her companion, Christopher, and their cats, Walter and Bella.
